Hi, my name is Arun.* I am 15 years old and I am in the 9th grade. In my free time I like to write poems, and I love watching birds and identifying the different ones.
I have one older sister. My mother is a homemaker and my father is a weaver. My favorite subject is math, because I like my Math teacher. He makes it very easy for us to understand.
Covid taught us many things. It brought our loved ones together in many ways. We were calling our near and dear ones and asking them if they were ok.
It was difficult for my family and the school provided us with some assistance. That’s how we survived as my father and mother also did not have any job that time. The situation was terrible. Now it is better since my dad is back at work.
For me, personally, it was difficult to attend online classes. If I had questions I would call my teachers, and they would help me but it was harder for everyone. I missed going to school a lot and that’s when I came to know the importance of the school. I missed my friends. I missed the sharing and caring with them.
When I finish school, I want to become a chartered accountant. Someday, I want to build an orphanage, because many children like me do not get a good education.
